How systems work
AdBlue (SCR)
Urea injected into exhaust converts nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless nitrogen and water. Requires quality fluid and working system.
DPF / FAP
Particulate filter captures soot particles. Periodically regenerates — burning accumulated soot at high temperature.
EGR
Recirculation valve returns part of exhaust gases to intake to lower combustion temperature and NOx level.

Can DPF / AdBlue be removed?
Software disable possible for motorsport and off-public-road use. In EU it's prohibited for cars used on public roads.
How to extend DPF life?
Avoid short trips, let engine warm up, use quality fuel and oil. Periodically drive on highway for natural regeneration.
Can any AdBlue be used?
Use only certified ISO 22241 fluid. Low-quality AdBlue can damage SCR system and lead to costly repair.
